Jennifer joined the ACLU of NH as the Administrative Specialist in March 2021 after working for close to five years as an administrative assistant for the Division of Nursing at Rivier University. With that experience comes a developed ability to aid the ACLU-NH staff with the tough work that is done by all, whether it be scheduling, letter-writing, data entry, ordering supplies, and more.

Jen’s focus at the ACLU-NH is to assist, and in doing so, help make the changes needed to ensure justice and equality for all. Although she prefers to stay out of the major spotlight on such work, she hopes to always be there in the background, serving to improve the lives of many. She is passionate about the work of the ACLU and feels “honored to be a part of it.”

Jen earned her B.A. in English from the University of Southern Maine in 2015 and was a born-and-raised Mainer until she moved to the Granite State in 2016. Since then, she has settled down comfortably into life as a New Hampshire resident with her now husband, and they enjoy a multitude of the outdoor activities that the NH White Mountains and lakes have to offer. In particular, they love hiking, camping, fishing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, skiing, and more, most of which can be enjoyed with their canine sidekick, Mogul. Aside from the great outdoors, Jen also loves to cook and considers reading a pleasant hobby too.
