Sobol et al. v. Commissioner of Department of Administrative Services et. al.

In May 2013, the ACLU-NH filed a lawsuit on behalf of the homeless population in Concord, New Hampshire. The lawsuit is in response to state officials’ recent efforts to clear homeless camps from public land, although the people in these camps have nowhere to go.

Jonathan Doyle v. Commissioner of Department of Resources and Development

A man filming on Mount Monadnock was told he needed to apply for a Special Use Permit, a regulation the ACLU-NH argued was unconstitutional because it is too broad. The case went to the NH Supreme Court which held the regulation was not narrowly tailored.
