The ACLU of New Hampshire commends Governor Hassan for vetoing HB 332, a bill that would require all school districts to provide at least two weeks advance parental notification about “any course material used for instruction of human sexuality or human sexual education.” Governor Hassan's veto message from earlier today can be found here.
Earlier this month, the ACLU of New Hampshire urged Governor Hassan to veto this bill. See the attached letter to the Governor written by our Executive Director Devon Chaffee: ACLU_NH_Urging Veto_HB 332_6_8_15.
